It’s been raining so much in the past week or so. The bomb cyclones that are hitting California so badly are sending tons of rain up the Oregon Coast as well. Last I looked we were up 4″ from last year at this time. We’ve barely seen a clear day, much less any sun. We’ve probably got a few more weeks of this before we start seeing the sun more. The temperatures have been nice – ranging from 45º at night to 65º during the day.

We did get a few minutes of sun this morning, so I ran down to Patterson Beach to see if I could get a few photos at least. The sunrise coming over the mountain was hitting the stormy clouds and it made everything have a beautiful blue hue.
