Took a trip up to the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area to see “Scarback” and the lighthouse with Christina & Tony. We saw Scarback, as well as another grey whale. The California Brown Pelicans have just started their migration path down the Oregon Coast, so we got to see quite a few of those as well. The weather was perfect! I got the Fujifilm 1.4x Teleconverter that works with my 70-300, however, even with it installed, I was barely able to see the whales. I wish they had gotten closer but this was a good test.
