I had to run into town this afternoon just before sunset for an appointment and the sun very briefly showed itself, so I ran down to the marina to get a few shots in on the drive home. I ran into the sweetest couple and their even sweeter three-month-old English Bulldog puppy! I think he was the cutest puppy I’ve ever seen. He was the color of a caramel macchiato, with whip cream swirls, and the brightest grey eyes. I tried to get a photo of him but he couldn’t stop wiggling his butt long enough for a clear shot with my vintage lens on.
I got a few shots that looked just as good in black-and-white or color, so I’ve included both versions. I couldn’t decide which one was better. 😂 I am hoping to get back to the marina several more times before the crabbing season is over. I believe I should be able to get some great shots of the fishing vessels coming into the South Jetty at Newport in the next few weeks. I just have to time my trips to Newport to match up with the fleet coming in or out to sea.
