I went whale watching this afternoon and saw a few humpback whales. It’s always so uplifting to get a glance at them migrating along the coast. Unfortunately, they were too far offshore to get photos with the lenses I currently have. One of these days I will invest in a really large telephoto lens.

Then, I came home to find the neighborhood deer were across from our driveway. This mom and her kids have been around since we moved in. They slowly walk through everyone’s yards eating flowers and leaves. I was able to walk within six feet of the young ones and got some great shots on my 35mm & 50mm lenses.

I feel like I should give them a name, but then they might disappear just to show me how temporary life is. 😂
